Holiday Closures Notice

We are fully closed on December 25th, 26th, and January 1st due to statutory holidays. Patient Service Centres that assist walk-in customers will be closed at noon on December 24th and 31st. Patient Service Centres that are appointment based only will be closed on December 24th and 31st.
Processing issues to BCCDC

Due to an unexpected partner processing issue, some referral samples collected in our LHSC’s in mid-November that were destined for testing at the BCCDC could not be tested. Patients and physicians are advised if a compromised sample requires recollection, the physician must submit a new requisition, and the patient must return to the lab for recollection. Change in HbA1c reporting limit

Dynacare will update the reporting limits for HbA1c. HbA1c testing is used to diagnose and monitor diabetes mellitus. Due to a reagent change, Dynacare will update reporting limits to 4.2% - 17.0%. Click here to view a Partner Update.
