This program is designed to be completed in conjunction with the Thompson Rivers University, Open Learning, MLA Certification. This program was derived from a need to have access to Certified Medical Laboratory Assistants rooted within our community.
Develop a program that will provide training in our community for Certified MLA’s
Provide a supportive program that produces well trained, experienced, Certified MLA’s
Improve VML’s MLA retention
Create opportunity in our organization for current MLA’s to advance their careers ( Student Co
Ordinator/Training roles)
Contribute to the Medical Lab Science community as a whole
